Just as a pearl forms through layers of care and resilience, we believe in nurturing your body's ability to heal, strengthen, and shine. Physical therapy and Pilates — led by licensed PTs — under one roof.
"I named this practice Perle because a pearl is a symbol of hope — and hope is what I want every patient to walk out with."
"After more than 25 years as a physical therapist, I've seen too many people cycle through treatment that never quite worked. Told to just rest. Given a sheet of exercises with no real guidance. That's not enough. When you're hurting, you deserve a provider who listens, who thinks, and who stays with you until you're actually better."
"That's what we do here. Physical therapy and Pilates, under one roof, led by physical therapists — so your care doesn't stop when your PT sessions end. You keep moving. You keep getting stronger. Layer by layer."
Beth has been a licensed physical therapist since 1999, when she graduated from the University of Florida. She moved to the Gulf Coast in 2008 and founded Perle to build the practice she'd always envisioned — one where PT and intelligent movement work together from day one.
She specializes in orthopedic conditions and takes a comprehensive approach: dry needling, manual therapy, Pilates-integrated rehab, and specific exercise instruction tailored to each patient's goals. Beth loves a patient challenge — particularly those with complex histories or who've had unsuccessful experiences with PT elsewhere.
Outside the clinic, Beth serves on the Mississippi State Board of Health representing the Gulf Coast region, and was recently recognized as one of the Top 100 Women to Know Along the Gulf Coast.
Every instructor and clinician at Perle holds a physical therapy license. That's not common. We think it should be.
Kate has been a licensed PT since 1997 (UMC) and is a Power Pilates certified instructor with a 600-hour certification. She integrates dry needling, manual therapy, and Pilates across private sessions and group reformer classes. Kate was inspired to enter PT after her grandmother's stroke — and brings that same sense of purpose to every patient.
Heidi holds a Master's in PT from UMC (2001) and a Power Pilates certification. A former collegiate soccer player and lifelong tennis enthusiast, she brings an athlete's perspective to patient care. She has a passion for geriatric patients and active adults, and has been a longtime Ocean Springs resident.
Marie brings 11+ years of PT experience across outpatient, inpatient rehab, and home health settings. She specializes in total knee replacement rehab, spine conditions using the McKenzie Method, and women's health — including postpartum recovery and pelvic floor rehabilitation. A mom of three herself, she understands firsthand the importance of staying active through every season of life, and is passionate about helping patients treat root causes — not just symptoms — so they can move with confidence and get back to doing what they love.
The right movement, done correctly, heals more than rest ever will. We're here to help you find it.
We don't run the assembly-line model. Every patient gets real time with a real PT who knows their case.
A PT-led class feels different because it is different. We're not guessing about your body — we've studied it for years.
We're building strength and resilience — not just managing flare-ups. Our goal is to get you to a place where you don't need us constantly.
Perle is a full-service PT clinic and Pilates studio under one roof — designed to feel nothing like either. No waiting rooms full of strangers. No rows of machines. Just clean, purpose-built space where you can move well and be seen doing it.
Our studio houses four classical Pilates apparatus — reformer with tower, Cadillac trap table, Wunda chair, and ladder barrel — alongside private PT treatment rooms where hands-on care happens without interruption. We keep classes intentionally small so your instructor can actually watch you move, not just manage a room.
